Gods and Heroes: Mythology Around the World

Here are some images from the first book I ever got published, Gods and Heroes. It’s a funny-but-factual encyclopedia of mythological figures spanning cultures worldwide and throughout history, with a bunch of silly comics and pictures.

To be honest, I usually have bittersweet feelings about projects I finish. I’m excited to work on it, and then frantic for the deadline, and then suddenly it’s finished….and there’s more I wish I had time to do, or some minor problem I notice a year too late, or I just realize how long it’s been and wonder at the mortality of it all. But with this one…I don’t know. I’m still pretty psyched about it.

Also, not for nothing, but all that research has really upped my bar trivia game.
